Per questa ragione il premio al migliore attore e quello alla miglior attrice :\u00a0<strong>Le Coppe Volpi<\/strong>, portano il suo nome.<\/p>\n<p>Il mondo del cinema e dell\u2019arte \u00e8 strettamente connesso all\u2019Hotel Excelsior; lunghissima la lista delle celebrit\u00e0 che nel tempo sono stati Ospiti del Resort: tra loro, Winston Churchill, Orson Welles, Erroll Flynn, Giuseppe Ungaretti, Clark Gable, Giorgio De Chirico, Italo Calvino, fino ai volti noti di oggi \u2013 Gina Lollobrigida, Kevin Costner, Dustin Hoffman, e molti altri ancora\u2026<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019Excelsior ha ospitato il set cinematografico di \u201cC\u2019era una volta in America\u201d, nella celebre scena dove Robert De Niro invita Elizabeth McGovern nella meravigliosa Sala Stucchi, facendo sognare gli spettatori nel dirle: \u201cVolevi un ristorante sul mare?
